Job Description


Centered upon market needs and expectations and managed via our premises at Stags Court, 1b High St, Thames Ditton, KT7 0SD, Surrey, UK, the scope of Marint (Offshore Services) Ltd, as International Towage & Salvage Brokers and Consultants, encompasses for provision of the following worldwide


  • 24 Hour emergency response for towage and salvage


Marint through our international network respond to ship owners, ship managers and underwriters on towage and salvage requirements on a 24-hour basis, 365 days a year, sourcing suitable vessels for towing, firefighting, ship to ship/lightering, diving, barges, wreck inspection, wreck removal, salvage masters, bunker removal. Likewise, for formulating packages of personnel and equipment where innovative ideas and unusual or modified equipment is required to provide the client with an economic and safe solution.


  • Commercial towage solutions


From floating productions units, to floating restaurants, self-elevating platforms to sonar buoys, additionally, dredging equipment to decommissioned frigates. Marint remain involved with a towage from start to finish, negotiating pricing, drawing up contracts and monitoring the performance of a tug throughout the voyage and ensuring any issues arising along the way remain professionally and promptly attended to.


  • Chartering offshore vessels


Marint is involved in assisting a variety of clients to charter suitable offshore vessels, including for anchor handling tugs/supply vessels, dive support vessels, platform supply vessels, fast support intervention vessels, crew boats, escort tugs, utility vessel and accommodation barges etc.


  • Heavy Lift, Lightening, Cargo Transportation


Servicing heavy-lift and project cargo requirements, inclusive of roll-on/roll-off, float-on/float-off and heavy lift and other specialist vessels and barges, Marint is well experienced in servicing heavy-lift and project cargo requirements.


Required Skills


The successful candidate will need to possess a combination of the following:-


  • – Confident but grounded character with good diplomatic skills.

  • – Self-motivated and hard working with a strong emphasis on working closely within a team environment, ultimately to become part of the duty roster that

    provides 24/7 cover

  • – An eagerness to generate, develop and run with new concepts and ideas

  • – Willingness to travel internationally (language skills will be a benefit)

  • – Practical experience of being at sea (although not essential)

  • – Experience in the field of Shipbroking will be preferred
